What is IT-security

IT security is the protection of information and, above all, the processing of information. Through information security is intended to prevent the manipulation of data and systems by unauthorized third parties. The meaning behind this is that sociotechnical systems, i.e. people and technology, within organizations and their data from damage and threats. In this context, we are not only talking about information and data, but also physical data centers or cloud services.
